Literacy LAGOON has been a true blessing to our family. Our daughter struggled in school from kindergarten onward. She was easily frustrated and often gave up when reading became too difficult. However, after utilizing the Really Wild Phonics unit, not only did our daughter look forward to school, but she also came home excited to read stories all on her own. So, when our youngest daughter started kindergarten, we knew we needed to have her complete all of Literacy LAGOON's reading and writing units to ensure her success as well.
We firmly believe that early intervention and the skill-level-appropriate tools allowed our daughters to grow in their ability and, more importantly, in their confidence. As a result, they now see themselves as readers and continue to push themselves to read more challenging texts.

As a mom who works in Higher Education it was important to me to find an educational program for my five year old over the summer months before transitioning to Kindergarten. I discovered Literacy Lagoon thanks to a family member.
The lessons were easy to follow and my child was excited to participate. In fact he enjoyed it so much he would go into my office and pull out the next lesson when I would return home from work. I really loved how easy the program was to follow. My teenage daughter was able to also teach the lessons to my son when I was busy with work or making dinner.
